Import taxes for our cigars in Canada

Information about Customs Entry in Canada

In Canada, all tobacco products and cigars are subject to a 55% import tax of the purchase
value plus shipping cost, plus other fees. Tobacco products are not considered Gift Items and
do not fall under minimum import allowances.

However small quantities seem to be tolerated as none of our small shipments was subjected
to import taxes.

Here is what you may expect to pay in Canada on delivery of your cigars for import duty, fees,
and a 15% Sales Tax for our cigars. ( please see the template for calculation at the bottom ).
